Good sea running - was told, on the way up the pier, that there were "plenty cod taken off the pier last night - 3, 4, 5, and a couple of 6lbers from the end"
Didn't get anything of that size, but ended up with 8 Whiting (all around a pound / pound and a half), and a couple of small (but in-size) codling. All were returned.
TIP:
When I was in ASDA on Saturday, I got some raw Tiger Prawns (anybody else tried them for bait?). You get loads in the pack (which cost (I think) £1.99 and they are perfect for tipping off worm baits). Whiting LOVE them. !!!!!!
