Had first chuck of the winter. Started at Silver Carrs, plenty bites at first on the ebb but slowed a bit on the flood. Got one good bite which I should have had if my reactions hadn't been a bit like Ameobi's!

Went to Newbiggin for the last hour of the match and got a codling 2lb 9oz from Lobster Wells, bait lug and razor. Not too bad got me 2nd place in the match. There were a few fish dotted around the area from what I heard but not loads.
