Had a few hours out today with Norman.
Plenty of fresh bait everywhere today.
Plagued by small whiting though.
Picked one coddling up about 2.1/2lb
Changed to 8/0&6/0 pennell rig with half a side of mackerel and fortunes changed and in came a few ling
We ended up with 3 ling at 9, 8 & 7lb and lost one in mid air on its way into the boat which I would have said was about 7lb ish.
Was hard work trying to find anything other than the whiting and the drift got a bit quick so we came back in.
Heard reports on the radio that someone on Talisman had a 24-25lb cod today, lucky bugger.
