posted on 16/3/2004 at 16:48Had'nt been out for weeks as 1 lad is working away and 1 is having 'marital problems' and has moved back home so I really fancied a trip out.
Took Monday as a days holiday,ordered some bait from Hartlepool and went to the South Gare. Blowing a gale but found a sheltered spot right on the end. Fished from 9.30 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. NOWT, not a sniff and yet it looked perfect. 1 other bloke fishing, he went after an hour so I had the whole pier to myself.
Still enjoyed the look out
