posted on 16/2/2004 at 00:42Fished 6pm - 10pm at South Shields for a match. Started at Viking Park but nowt but bites from small stuff. Moved to the walkway along from the groyne and had two codling around the 2lb mark, 46cm and 43cm. There were loads of undersize codling in the river along with a few whiting and odd dab. Most of the 16 that fished caught.
