posted on 10/5/2004 at 23:11Fished a few hours over high water. Plenty of bites but only 2 flounders landed. One just undersize but both in good condition and thick. Tried variations of lug, rag, mackerel, crab and sandeel but lug and mackerel tip got the bites.
Tipped off at the end with a chunck of sandeel and landed a whiting just on size. At least there's fish there!
