posted on 23/12/2003 at 01:39Fished Whitley Bay tonight (Monday 23rd) I thought that conditions looked very favourable (big blow the night before, and very coloured seas on the early tide).
The beach was very busy, but nobody I spoke to seemed to be catching much
I didn't get a bite all night, tried a variety of baits as well as fishing two rods. However, despite a poor showing by the fishes, I still went home feeling happy, relaxed and contented
- I think it is rather curious that I would rather fish and catch bugger all, than stay in and not fish! - It got me wondering if other people enjoy fishing even when they 'blank' or do they just get frustrated? - think I might take this idea up on another thread in the main 'Shore Fishing' forum. >> posted there >>
