Hard work this fishing, good job I actually like being out there in the boat for hours on end otherwise the catches alone would never justify the work involved .........
Anyway ..... out at 6.30am (HT was 8.00am) caught two good codling of about 4lb on first wreck on first two drifts ....... looked like a brill day in the making ............ then all went quiet
tried inshore offshore but all to no avail until about 12.00 when they came on again, one more codling about the same then 2 nice ling 6lb and 7lb. Plenty of scotchies about but all went back .. oh and so did a couple of \"bootlaces\" all in all a decent day with 5 fish to fillet back as base although as I said , it was hard work ........... (still a bit of a lump on the sea at first but it eased off as the day went on)

I was down Seaham today and the conditions looked fantastic, seen some boats fishing the wrecks just off seaham. I was almost ran off the cliff top lol.

Good catch anyway Norman :)
