With not getting out on windy Saturday, was happy to see the calm conditions this morning, Ken and myself headed to the close in wrecks around the Tyne entrance. Just picked up the odd codling just under 3 lb. Then had a run down Souter, but things there were even slower, so headed back to fish the rough ground off Tynemouth beach. We ended up with 8 keepers, best about 3 n a half pound plus one mackerel. But what a great morning to be out
