Sorry for the late report, Been busy. Well we had a boat trip booked with Peter on Sapphire on Sunday 7/7/2013. We left S/Land Marina at 6am on a beautifull sunny day, we headed out to our first wreck, where we were catching cod up to 9lb, but averaging about 4-5lb. This thinned out so we moved onto the second wreck where my brother Kevan caught a Ling of 15lb on Ripper. On the same wreck Dave Lamb also caught a Ling of 13lb. Well done to them both, We were only getting mackerel in patches. We had an enjoyable day and I would like to thank Peter for all his help and advice he gave us on our Boat Trip. Thanks Again Chris

Byyyy I'm a bonny lad! Shame about me fatha.. That cod is better looking than him!
I had the 13lb on a flowing trace with a sliding boom with half a side of makky on 6/0 pennel on 12/20 outfit with abu 7000 it was a decent fight for a ling.. Lost what felt like a very good cod not for from the surface on the first wreck but never mind!
Fishing was slow all round but sounds like it was for all boats not just us!
