terrible goings on

Totally agree Richy.
So much for the N.E. reputation of being one of the friendliest places in the country.
Sickening

Turns out to be a Sunderland fan that did it - Sunday Sun says the bloke said \"why dont you put your hand in your pocket and give Mcarthey some money \"

i cant see a Newcastle fan saying that

still Bang out of order though - and what happened to the 24 hr curfew before matches or is that only the players

bad crack, heres the story from the Sunday Sun

believe me all is not as it seems with that \"incident\" the person involved came foreward to the police and gave a very different version of events, if this was a straight foreward glassing incident do you not think charges would have been brought. all will come out in the wash.

Must admit mickey, I thought hang fire, no charges yet and the guy\'s been named as well. I\'m sure the press could only have done that if the accused had agreed.

Strange

Possibly a glass was smashed, some hit the mrs. The tabloids could quite easily twist that. \"Bob Murray Glassed wife injured by fragments\"

yes sless thats my dad, the ideas not as far fetched as some people think, the stadium of light has just been valued at £85milion. it would be a good investment for say a financial institution who would lease it back to the club. the £85million raised could wipe out the £40million debt and the money saved on repayments and interest would go a long way to paying the rent. there would be a surplus of over £40million for team strengthening.
not an ideal situation but in our present prediciment it should at least be viewed as an option. it has already been done by other clubs both at home and abroad.
