Sless its my fav trout lake but its not the Tannfield next to consert its called west tanfield near Ripon, its a 11 acre laked stocked with brown,blue and brown trout and you can keep 4 trout on a all day ticket for £12 blue,rainbow and brown all can take. 8am till dusk is the fishing sesh.Its easy to get there, just take the A1 all the way down till you see the sign for light water valley, follow the sins for there until you get to Tanfield.If you get lost the little village there will point you int he right direction.If your taken your kid its £6 all 4 fish for under 14s.
tip....wadders help alot as its not all a man made lake its got that hint of wild about it.great spot....
