TCQ 4th July

With a couple of weather sites that are normally reliable we set off for a quick afternoon session and out of the piers for 1330. The forecast was for a slow northerly swell with the wind increasing around 8pm from the South East.
On arrival at the piers we were greeted with a snotty choppy sea from the South East as the wind had already veered six hours earlier than forecast!:rolleyes::rolleyes: with the wind over tide there was no chance of any photos today!
That scuppered our plans and after four drifts on an inshore wreck producing a solitary cod and a load of whiting it was back through the piers awaiting better weather for three!:rolleyes::rolleyes:
The forecast looks pants for the Bob White Memorial and I am crossing everything it changes!
