Team Slinky - Lesson in metallurgy

Session 2 in lead making yielded 70+ leads in little over 2 hours so that and the last session (and the mini session Norman has this week) makes about 180 odd from £50 of lead - had a good little production line going last night as well as a break to see the ISS do a fly-by :D

That's some set up you have got there Keith :)

I just bought some lead last week and it has shot up in price. I paid £165 for 148.5k which is about £1.11 per kilo :eek:

I always say to the anglers that the wrecks we fish were small when they sank but they are now a heap of jiggers and lead weights. :rolleyes:

Can't beat a good session on the Pot n Laddle, breathing in those toxic fumes.

No wonder people think we anglers are nutters. :confused:
 
hello john,finaly found my way in here.lead fumes are realy bad for your health,as if you need me to tell ya that.what im getting at is my lungs are now ufkced because of hot metal fumes.i fabricated for years with masks on and only found out i had COPD AFTER STOPPING SMOKING,to find i had genetic emphacimer.although yous ladds might wear protective gear just bear in mind that if you smell it ,it will be affecting your lungs.SORRY to sound like a teacher butzzzzzzzzz.:)
