You could try Go Outdoors mate. Plenty cheap fishing rods in stock. Probably not the best quality but if its only for your holidays it should be fine.

Nice lad is steve always happy to help. If you cant get one mate i bought mine when i was over there was was only about 20 dollars dollthey normally come with reel line float then just give it to a local lad after a couple of days and no fish the little del boy sold it to another tourist for 10 haha
