Big thanks to Richie for him inviting me along today to fish with him and his mate Ian. I had never boat fished from the Tyne/Royal Quays before so it was all a new experience. Richie had all his wrecks plotted and we made our way around at least 10 of them. I only had two cod but they were good size,4lb and 5lb mark. Richie did very well but lost half of what he hooked one at least 10 lb before we got it to the side of the boat. Ian had at least half a dozen good cod.
Hope all goes well in Norway guys.

sounds like yous had a canny day mate, he must be out all the time coz ive seen him a good few times on the water when ive been out, i was out sat gone and had 2 ling 4lb and 6lb and a cod 5lb, my next day out is wednesday bring it on. well done to yous.

Yer strange how two days not the same and fishing many the same marks but we still caught and plocked away all day. The Miniki whales made a nice little end to the day just a shame we never got any good pic's.

Aye Richie my missus argued they were Porpoises. No defo a Minki whale saw it clearly as it came up out of the water with his couple of dolphin/porpoise mates.
Thanks again and keep me in mind for next years trip to Norway--or Iceland. Fancy a trip in warmer weather and may have a mate or two who will be up for it.
