not bothered about the pigs as i always bloody loose them trying to get them up the pier i like them around 3-4lb as they make lovely meal

You guys will be seeing me anywhere from seahouses to sunderland. Hopefully catching some of you guys along the way. Gonna stop relying on piers this time. Gonna hit the beaches, skiers, gullies more often. As they seem to be the only place i actually catch something

Agreed, lets not have anyone going on tynemouth pier in a 12ft sea. Like some of our keen cod fishermen last winter.... :O Best way to fish is with a buddy, then you know someone is there just incase.

I can feel its close have been army style training this summer with a pack on my back ready for the 100 yd dash and wave dodging up the pier at night youve never seen someone as fast in a pair a moon boots .

Lol... not gonna lie been fishing amble peir in a serious storm, was on the corner with a massive tide, waves the lot. What a night tho, 2-3lb coalies, 4-5lb coddies every cast. Well worth it. I had someone with me then tho, and my floatation suit! Its essensial
