A bit of a Newcastle landmark, well known to generations of youths, students and passers by heading from Westgate road to Clayton Street.

Started about 9.30 this morning and the roof timbers were still burning when I visited "Leprevo", just across the corner in Charlotte Square at 1.45pm! I had to go round the back and get in through the back door but I managed to get my bits and bobs okay.
Hopefully there was no one in the burning building.
