So after a nearly 6 hour journey, with a cigarette stop and a coffee at Codfather145, who has again been too kind to Lynn(thanks Steve, I will see none of that stuff you know!), we arrived at Cayton Bay.

A lovely site, way too many kids for my liking mind and silly site shop prices, but the caravan is fantastic for a "newspaper cheapie." Flatscreen TV, freeview, and a really well appointed van.

As our first charter is not until Wednesday, Lynn had a look at the "offers" brochure in the van. She has suggested we go to the sea life centre tomorrow so that I can see some fish close up for a change!

Thanks Lynn.

Hoping this weather holds!?

Good luck mate, hope it goes better than your last visit. We had a cracking weekend in Scotland, hope England treats you as well.
Steve's a great lad, you were in good hands there.

Thanks lads. Yup Steve is a great lad, even got a few of his "special" bait bangers!

Yes weather seems fair with not much sea, so hoping to get all four trips and a few fish to make Easter but a distant (bad) memory! :)

No idea what is in them, but they worked for me last time at Whitby - about an eon ago!

Cayton Bay is a lovely place...just a word of warning though if you go down to the bay opposite the caravan park make sure you have some spare oxygen to get back up the hill....its a friggin killer getting back up there!!

Thought I seen a strange aura of light pass by at work...

Have fun!

And don't beat yourself up about Lynn beating you.. I know that you let her win to keep her spirits up! (you wish)

Yer it should be ok this week, mainly west winds with a few strong gusts but nothing to trouble a charter boat.

Mackerel showing abit more now and wrecks holding fish, the water close in should have cleaned up abit and the fish back on the rough ground...no excuse for not catching this time :)

Trot-on is on!!

Trot-on is on!!

Yes tomorrow is on. Alarm off at 415am. It is going to be a cracker. :)

Only ever seen one bigger beam! :D
