The beacons 29/10/16

Well at 1st me and Stefan were going to fish the pipe but we both forgot waders and there was already 2 lads waiting to get on..
Decided on a run to Newbiggin. Loads of people already up there but found ourselves in plenty space..

Bit of a slow start with only a couple of pulls for both of us but as you do you get sick and make a move.. turned out to be the right move as I was strait into fish nothing big but fish all the same

Ended the session with 2 fish both around 1.5lb..
After that the fish were very shy pulling then disappearing
called it a night 2 hours into the flood..
The lady in the takeaway took the fish off my hands for a bit of free food..

Yeah I've had a bit of time away... not from the fishing though now I have a new job around the country so rarely have time to fish never mind post.
I'll try my hardest to contribute my bit again

Had a good summer season from eyemouth and the like polock to nearly 7lb codling to 5lb
