hits the nail on the head there steve.

its been diminishing over the years, and with the little, ahem, gap, between derby games of late, can't really seeing anyone the field having the passion to rally the troops like they used to do

How many derby games ,not just local either over the last few years have we seen gutted fans from the losing side holding their heads in their hands etc. only to see the players strolling off as it's just any old game they've lost ,chatting to their mates and laughing ........ boils my you know what !

Too much tension at the derby games now to enjoy the spectacle.

Just glad it's on Sky and not on Setanta...they manage to make Channel 5 look good

was quietly confident for the red and whites until i found out viduka was fit he is a player i rate very highly, shame hes a skunk!

the way things go where the toon are concerned, I reckon you could put money on chopra scoring on saturday, and what if andy cole gets a start.....

win or lose it'll hopefully be a good game, which might give both clubs the kick up the jacksy they both need at the moment. Just hope the bleating/gloating doesn't get too unbearable post match
