Out with Kenny again this morning for a few hours, joined by a mate of his also called Keith & his son Gordon.
Fishing was much the same as yesterday, tried inshore wrecks first and picked a few decent fish up straight away but no great numbers.
Keith hadn't been out on a boat since he was a lad some 25 years ago so he was over the moon to get a 5lber within the first half hour. He was soon even more delighted when his rod gave a good nod nod, this is a double I told him as I got ready with the net, his face was a picture when this 12lb beauty hit the surface.
Gordon also landed few canny fish, a cod about 6lb and a couple of ling, so I think they both maybe hooked on boat fishing.
We packed in about 11.30am with a total catch of 5 ling, 9 cod, 2 mackeral & dozens of jocks, Gordon must of returned about 20 alone.
