The cod that saw the light

Knowing that there was a good chance of a bag of mackerel I ventured down to the harbour with my brotherinlaw Paul. The tide was out but was on the way in, and the sea was as flat as.
This is Paul poised for action.

Very quickly the fun started as both Paul and myself started hitting one after another.

Then after the routine of pulling in mackerel, a severe bend of my light rod suggested I might have something bigger.
Then low and behold, there it was. The 3lb cod that saw the light. daylight that is.

Overall it was a canny little session.

Drove past last night around 6.45 and sure I seen you's there. Well done on the fish, was a lovely night before that weather became bad.
