Afternoon start yesterday and the forecast was just about spot on with a slightly bumpy sea and the breeze stopping and starting. The drift speed was decent throughout the trip.
To cut a long story short it was a fishing trip of 2 halves!
First half we found a couple of wrecks with fish on and caught steadily for the first hour and a half, biggest fish a bit over 7lb. We caught fish every drift with a few double hook ups and it felt like wreck fishing of a couple of years ago!
Graham's 6.5lber

7.25lber for me

The fish eventually dried up and the second half of the trip began. We tried another 5 wrecks but not a single fish to show for it!
A very enjoyable first half of the trip, frustrating 2nd half! The water clarity continues to improve and so does the wreck fishing - slowly!!
