just back from the heugh breakwater first time out in almost a year [have had big probs with my back hence no casting but it's getting a little easier]anyway got on the heugh about one thirty with my spinning gear, only person on so started spinning with a toby, third cast bang a cracking macky one hell of a fight biggest macky i've had in years maybe 2lbs, a few other lads came on an every one was catching these really big macky no small ones among them plus lots of small dabs for the couple of lads fishing the bottom, why the macky are so big this year i haven't a clue but they are good sport.
