well me and the old fella went over to the huegh thismorning left the house not a breath of wind thought it would of been a good mornin for a few hours float fishing got to the hugh at about 5.45 walked upto the end of the pier what a shock we got good strong wind blowing so we decided to spin for a bit for a bit of bait to try the float we both had one each on the spinner dad tried his float but the wind was far too strong and had too much of a bow in the line so we carried on with the spinners nothing else at all the wind was gradually picking up and slowly started spitting onto rain we decided to call it a mornin at 7.15 the wind just made it so uncomfortable to fish but still least we tried and saved a blank each glad to be back in the house in the warm...might go out with the poppers later on tonight from the shore if the wind dies off
