Can anyone tell me where the mark named the mesh is.If its just down from hebburn marina ive never seen anyone there , any info on the afore mark would be vwry gratefull

The mesh is behind the factory units that you pass on the way to the marina.

So i understand it is fished on same tide as other river marks, flood being best on medium tides

Use to be a cracking mark for flounders, witnessed flounders caught on spoons there too, was poor last year for flats, so was magority of marks for flats, fresh crab best

Can only be fished the last 3 hours of the Ebb & first 3 of the Flood.

fishes very similar to the marina. its only a couple of hundred yards away.

You walk through the trees on path on the bend of road before marina car park. On low water leave the tyres but in the old mooring recesses jump down and look amongst the timbers. When the peelers are there you can get quite a few and you don't get jumped on by the guys who check the tyres lol
