Well you think its cold fishing in the UK? this is a picture from today of the Norway fish camp we visit in the summer months...nice err

It's amazing how much warmer it feels when you are catching fish, and how much colder it feels when you are not, I used to do a lot of winter pike fishing , never felt the cold when the pike were feeding

When we were in Norway earlier this year, our boat had a few marks/waypoints from previous users. Given that it was quite cold during our July visit, I was surprised to see that some of the GPS waypoints had been installed in the months Dec/Jan. The Northern airports are shut during the winter months so I'm inclined to think it's only the locals who are fishing just now. That guy's floatation suit looks a few tog ratings above ours but it makes me shiver just looking at him.
