I have the Drennan series 7 feeder rod 12ft and the Drennan series 7 float rod 13ft and both lovely rods, light, but with enough backbone to pull carp out of weeds and give them a bit of stick but are forgiving enough not to pull the hooks out of smaller fish, such as small silvers.. if the puddle chucker range are anything like the rods i have they should be a pleasure to use

Mint rod, I have it. The tip is fine enough to know you have a minnow on and good backbone for carp, A real pleasure to catch any fish on.
