This is shocking !!!!!!!!!!!!

loopy, nothing will happen until someone finds an answer to this problem, and i have yet to read any viable suggestions on this furum that will stop the rot ,it is all wery well to have stewards policing match competitions, but what about the other 6 million pleasure anglers who fish our coasts of which i am one of them , maybe if other decent anglers stood up to these brain dead morons and ask them ,no told them to remove their rubbish , the word might get round ,but as yet apart from myself and my mate i have never seen any one confront these yobs.

A clean up of the MOG angling marks is being arranged for June. It is simply a groupe of responsible anglers banding together to do our bit. Will stick details/dates on here when things are finalised.

I camped and fished at MOG last august, and was appauled at the amount of rubbish left around the place. We filled three bin bags of other peoples rubbish. It is such a shame to spoil such a beautiful place.

mess

mess

we get mess everywhere we go but like one comment said how can anyone police it all we can realy do is clean up after our selves and help prevent an adition to the mess , its not a case of a death wish asking a group of people to tidy up after themselves , just ask if you get a bad response walk away , at least you can walk away with a good feeling because at least you tried !

im fishing up there may bank holiday (end of may) hope the farmer doesnt stop us from staying there as its a great wind break for our tents and fire ect.

we stayed last year and gave the farmer extra cash for him to drop us some spare wood for the fire he left us enough to last a week haha.

Well Done John,

Can I also just add to Les's post, that this and Johns AND from past posts NESA's litter pick ups WILL go a long way to raising our profile as anglers and highlighting the fact that we are not all mindless scruff bags. As well as that if you can contact any local press they will pick up on the story which again increases the chance that the general public see the positive side of angling and may well shame those responsible!
