It was this time last year when we were well into our shark fishing sessions.
Whilst moving things around on the two pc's I use I came across some pictures that you may like to see.
That was a whiting caught at anchor on squid as you can see. But it came to a sticky end. That was from whitby.
This is whats left of a live mackrel fished on an 8/0 from Hartlepool.
These were not one off's and in all i would reckon we had over a dozen runs from tope (not including the porgie runs we had)
The whitby forum has reports of tope from filey and some where landed at whitby last week
(by salmon netters).
They are there and worth having a go for but make sure your clutch is set right to give line or you will regret it.
Finally sussed the posting pictures
