Cold outside and am off today...am half tempted to foray into the shed and drag the old boxeroo out and start getting things ship shape

Of course I only say half tempted - it is bleeding taters after all :D

...and of course we still have weeks to go :cool:

No grand statements of intent for the season ahead only to hopefully nail them with the Slinky Shads...am not even fussed about beating PBs because let's be honest 20lb Cod round these parts are fairly rare :)

I'll go make another brew and maybe (maybe) head out to the shed...maybe

;)

Yes 7-8 weeks yet really but i for one cant wait, BALANCE seems to have returned to the sea from what i am seeing and being told and i for one am looking forward to seeing the regular's out on the water pulling in a few fish a wreck :) and with new members, NESA comps, home made shads. new rods.reels, marks etc we all have soemthing to look forward to but we all still have one hand with fingers crossed for settled weather and little rain as not to spoil it like last year.

Come September I'm itching to get the beach caster out, come February I'm sitting counting my shads!!! Can't win!!! Roll on summer eh lads...

Your right Tone, it's bludy freezin out there. I've just come in from working on the electric winch for an hour or so on the boat trailer. What a contrast to yesterday.:(

The shed thing is still on the back burner :D

Crap snow...isn't even the kind kids can play in as it turned to slush straight away. Mrs Wallsendo and I took a constitutional yesterday all geared up for arctic armageddon when wellies would have been more appropriate LOL :D

The last two weekends before blast off will be wood sanding and deep clean and ready ...... so taking them from the 4 or 5 weels left only gives you 2-3 weeks to do the "Shed" thing , oh and another weekend in there for shad production and sorting assuming the last moulds are finished this week .... thats almost the weekends filled from now on in :) :) :)
