Not the right time of year mate. you still may catch silvers and the odd carp but not much else, spring / summer, early autumn the best times.. had my pb carp from there a few years back, 18lb. there are some big fish in the place like!
Im going with my wifes ex husband (yes i know thats wierd) he is big into his carp. He mainly fishes this time of year. Last month he got a 38lb down the country. Worth a shot for the price of a day ticket
