Tickets for Sunderland v Wolves

My nephew (6) is down for Easter weekend and he is Sunderland and Celtic mad. He's been for a look around the Stadium and his little eyes were on stalks. For some reason his Dad is not keen to take him to Parkhead for his first game, I can only imagine it is because he is trying to steer him clear of the sectarian issues surrounding The Old Firm and the negative effect he's seen it have on his community and family in the past.

Anyhow - I guess the obvious thing to do is ring the box office but I've only ever been in the ground over the last few years on the cheap schoolkid parent deals. Will I get a ticket (3) and if so where should I try for to give the young lad his best possible experience. I'm chuffed to bits Sunderland will be the first big team he sees in action!

Also prepared for some stick

Any advice much appreciated

The south west corner is the best atmosphere wise, but it's next to the away fans so it might not be suitable for youngsters.

The north west corner is the concessions area if you wanna save a few quid on the tickets.

Tickets will probs go on sale about a fortnight before the game.

You can do a stadium tour, but probably not on match day.

The club shop will be open though, not that they ever have owt in stock.

Remember your multi language phrase books if you wanna order a pint in the ground.

Thanks again Keith.

I was brought up in Houghton-le Spring which has many french influences and lived in Brixton for 10 years (a breath of fresh air after Houghton) so I am very culturaled. I speak the language of the common man (my mate Geordie) as well.
