I watched this on sky sports 3 last night and it was really good.
They reckon cod are coming back in a big way.
There is a large no fishing area in the North Sea so the cod are allowed to spawn.
Mention was made of all the small cod last year and now they will be 2-3 lb.(i caught quite a few little ones last year funnily enough).
Cod grow fast and if they avoid trawlers they will be 6-7 lb next year.
Its got to be good news.
Mention was also made of the sea licence. I won,t go into all the bumff but why not incoporate the licence with the fresh water one so all anglers pay.
The programme may be repeated i would recommend watching it.
