Just a heads up but Lidl have the small "glow sticks" back in, £2.50 for 50 of them.

Handy as spares or backup.

worth paying , just for the green ones . use the others to make a pretend runway on the pier if you get bored and make aeroplane noises etc ...
 
I think they are great - the red and green ones are very bright. It's just the blue ones that are a bit dim. Good value for money. I bought a few boxes last year when they had them in and am still using them.
 
I bought a box today and my daughter decided she wanted to make a multi coloured magic wand out of some and they are all very bright, I would say the blue is more of a violet/purple colour though
 
Av used them for the past 2 years blue are crap but the green n red are spot on 40 decent tip lights is bloody good for 2.50.
But if you used to one of those 100watt bulbs on the tip then nowts gona be better
