Tips for Beadnell

Hi all, I'm up from Lincolnshire on Friday for the week with the family stopping in Beadnell and could do with any hints - marks,whats showing,tackle shop etc...

All help greatly appreciated. Giggs.

Some cracking marks up Beadnell, Plenty of gulleys and skeers at low water and the big skeer at high water, its kelpy so rotten bottoms needed, take some light gear up for a bit of spinning if you want.
tackle shops in Morpeth.Game Fishing Supplies | Sea Fishing Tackle Supplies | Fly Fishing Tackle Supplies | Coarse Fishing Tackle Supplies - UK and Amble, not sure on any further up. Try different baits but my favs up there are mussel, crab, squid, take some rag and lug though.

There is a shop in Seahouses that sells some tackle and frozen baits

Had some great sport up there last year try float fishing off the high wall of the long skeer at high water or bottom fishing almost anywhere from beadnell expect codling pollock wrasse coalies
Try spinning from the piers at seahouses you'll be surprised at what you catch
Baits would be crab rag lug mussel squid

watch your footing on the skeers as they are very slippy my mate slipped and broke his ankle a couple of weeks back
