Hi to all
Don’t know where to start
awe yeah the dock, would have helped if i had radar in the car so i could find my way down

proper pea soup. With all the recent rain it was a no brainer, we had to get off shore to get away from the coffee coloured water inshore

Wrecks it was! About 3 mile off and the fog started to lift and the sun started shining

great, nice swell

First wreck was an unexpected but pleasant surprise
first drop, mackerel and Pollock

great start. Another couple of drifts got another Pollock and more mackerel
then nothing over the next 2 drifts

So off we went to the next wreck. The next wreck produced the best fishing so far this year for me

First drop was greeted by one Pollock at 4.5lb, one ling at 6.5lb and 4 cod around 5lb

The rest of the drifts on this wreck weren’t as good as the first drop but steady away after that

We had cod up to 10lb 4oz (caught by one happy chap. Ian W) and more Pollock

We didn’t fill the boat up

but it was nice to see some quality fish coming in

We probably had about 6 drifts then it also slowed down
so off we went to the next wreck. We had another couple of Pollock of the next wreck then lost the tide and everything just came to a standstill

We only managed 1 more cod, about 3lb and the obligatory whiting on the ground then time was getting on so headed home.
Great day was had by all

Sorry photos too big to load on to here. Camera on phone!!!
