Me and Jpster had a trip out on my boat today, wasnt expecting a great deal, John managed 2 Codlings 3lb and 5.5lb, i didnt manage to land a fish,but lost a couple off.
Tried a couple of wrecks and a bit of ground, sea was fairly flat, but the sun didnt really poke his head through.

was a nice day out so thanks for the invite. Shame about the fish but a couple of good fish is better than none. Hopefully more luck for us both next time!

Canny result after the poor fishing reported all over, and thats on a small tide.

We did a few miles and tried a couple of locations, boat will be lifted out today or tomorrow for its pre summer spuce up.

Are you putting the boat back into Sunderland Marina or waiting for Seaham, Falcone.?

well i will be out the water for a month at least, so il check on Seaham closer to that time and see how long they are expected to take before i make a decision, if its not going to be too long i may just hold on for Seaham, if its gonna run into jue/july then i would have no option other than to put it back in sunderland.

My fees are due the end of May, so i'm waiting for it opening as well, to see what the fees are like at Seaham.
