Anyone out tonight thinking of giving the walkway a try
Much been happning down there lately

Spoke to a lad on S Shields pier today, who had just packed up from the Walkway........said the weed was terrible, so he decided to fish the pier instead.
Quite a swell between the piers probally pushing the weed in. However you never know ; every tide can be different.

Fished there last night, was very quiet. Had three Dabs on frozen crab, two good ones over 30cm. A fair few rods out and I saw very few fish, just one undersize codling next to me and a couple of lads in the top corner had a few out including one size fish I saw getting knocked on the head and bagged up.

Weed wasn't bad, had a bit gathering round the leader knot but compared to when I was hauling tons of it in fishing on the south coast this was next to nothing.

fished 6 30 til 10 last nite had 2 decent whiteys and 1 codling 1lb 10z its worth a try mate

Fished the walkway last sunday 24th 2 hrs either side of high water had 2 sized codling on lug tipped with rag, definately worth a shot

Didnt even get out tonight mates let me down gna give it a shot at the weekend
Ive only fished it once in the dark whats it like during the day
