Too risky today

Down at marina this morning just for the usual check over as we'd not planned a day out ....... good job really as conditions were severe, with a little constant and consistent wind blowing straight down the river, the sun through the clouds and a rather warm feeling in the atmosphere .....

Far too dangerous in the lock with so many yachts having a day out I wouldnt fancy my chances of survival in there ....

Mind you it does make for a good half hour or so fun just watching from above ..... sorry YTY lads :red:

A few boats left the marina this morning and came back in within an hour . The yachties are making the most of the wind as they'll be getting lifted out shortly and put into hibernation .

We braved it, headed to the usual spot. It's still bursting with whitings with the odd cod thrown in.
