Paulo has certainly lit the paper at the S O L.for me oneil was my first choice manager even before Bruce appeared, but as it's panned out John Robertson was the piece in the jigsaw that was missing.the derby match was not a game that I was looking forward to at all,but now I see this game in a different light,so beware Mr Pardew and the french foreign legion, because like it or not you are in the thick of a relegation battle along with the rest of the teams 34pts and below as it stands at this moment in time.;)

Hear! Hear! Like ive said to some of the daluded maggs on hear who saying we will
go down!!they are from safe as you say we only two points behind and also other teams
arnt safe either even as far up as southampton!!!!!!!!!

Hello young Paul I am not deluded but the majority of people I talk to who say the red n white army are going down are Sunderland supporters mate as for us I do believe we will scrape threw .. Hope this doesn't come back and bite me and I do think you will end up 4th luckily for you's but I don't believe di canio is the answer IMO ps have you caught out recently mate

Well i agree both teams in trouble and both playing rather poor at times but i really cant see DC making much of a difference to the team, he may get a few more up for games but with clatermole out and Fletcher it is going to be hard going.

I rue the fact we never got Remy because if we had a striker we would be well clear of the danger area now...all that said i still say 2-0 win to Newcastle in the derby with the "dream boat" and Sissoko hitting the back of the net.

Have have viewed Newcastles last games (not interested in Sunderlands) and i think 7 points should be fine but i do think we will be knocked out the cup on Thursday by a top team.

i agree old mick:D:D we look like we going down !!!but im ref to the maggs supporters saying they are safe and will beat the drop!!! think again as newcastle are reet in the mixer mick.and as for the last 6 games for both teams they are all hard no one is safe ;)

It just means we will run backwards most of the time and Sunderland be at the dug out changing strips over depending how the game is going :)

If nothing else it will be a interesting end to the season.

So called Fans from both sides should be ashamed. Reading reports seems home fans worst culprits. Bloody idiots

Terrible day for the North east :( North / South divide ? we didn't help the regions cause today.

Good result for Sunderland, they deserved it. We continue to squander possession and opportunities.
