trawling sand and pebbles

did any one see country file on sunday it had a report about taking sand and stones from the sea bed in the english channel for the building industry sad thing is a lot of it is sold over seas in countries where there government will not allow this to take place in there seas
somone from a conservation group commented that this would take place over fish spawning grounds including cod grounds
another man from the building industry commented that it would only take 5 years for some species to return but some could take as long as 10 years to collonise these areas again the government is looking into this but it looks like they will give the go a head money talks and f**k the fish seems to be the attertude taken by the government and the fish trawlers makes my blood boil

Whilst talking of trawlers - the sea today was spot on around hartlepool and i saw four trawlers going around and around the bay to the south of the heugh and right up to middleton so any chances of catching fish by rod in those areas are nil. :casstet: :casstet: :casstet: :casstet:
