tryed off sea to catch some cod

not had much luck lately on the shore, so me and ten of my mates from work went out of the tyne on jfk, fished from 8am till 4pm hit quite a few wrecks with only one small whitie caught all day. tell me again it is a bumper year for cod ????? morale not good at the mo !

my boss said it was 30 quid with your own gear and 35 if they supplyed the gear.

it must just be the time of year. I was always led to believe boat fishing is a lot better when mackeral are about. The weather is also better so the sea is clearer-for the use of shads etc.
