Tunstall man!

Been slavishly trekking to Tunstall on a regular basis as I have payed my dues for the third year running, have a little knowledge of the place, like the fact that the portaloo always has bog roll in it and can never get up early enough to justify a day elsewhere. Been there at least 15 times, total catch 2. the reports on the board are shocking -I totted up the catch over the last three days, about 16 fish for 60 odd sessions. Anyone know why it's so rubbish up there at the minute?

Charlie sounds like its not getting stocked. Unless the fish are in deep water with this hot summer we are having at the moment.

was a member for 5 years didnt join this year after last years disaster lost count how many times i fished it at all different times of the day. blanked most times or managed 1 fish mate was a member as well same for him he also has packed it in . the 4 years before that no complaints catch reports last year were the same lot of people fishing not many fish caught.

i used to fish there years ago charile .
the point sticking out to your left when at lodge or car park ' wade in a far as you can go and use 1 single fly no droppers ect .
the fly pattern best for tunstal in summer is dawsons olive especial from the point i told you about
