Tunstall

Never fished it - but took a drive over there today ,(while at work ) only one bloke fishing ,just to the left of fishing hut over the small`ish brook/inlet running into Reservoir , was this cos its Crap or just a monday morning, i am taking Thurs off and would like some Advice on Tunstall , Fly patterns , where abouts on the bank to fish ,can you drive round it Etc Etc ,

tunstall is leased by a fishing club now but still sells day tickets so never realy gets busy i have been a member for 4 years now cracking value at £80 per year unlimited fishing if bailiff not there think you get day tickets at cottage at the end off the dam wall now sure its on the notice board at the lodge anyway. at the moment with the water being so warm best places are up by the dam wall after sighning in drive back out and park car in bit of a lay by up by dam wall go through gate and fish any were from no fishing post down to treeson left side or walk across dam wall and fish other corner depending on wind if fish on top small black flys seem to work well or small nymphs diawl bachs etc. if bright try intermediate with dawsons or small black or white fritz pulled slowly as at all fisherys some days they take out other days its trying to find out what there feeding on good tip if you go accross dam wall try buzzers floated about some days this works when nowt else does especialy black.dont wade far out up there as it drops off quite close in .bay to the left of the lodge shallow and always fishes well at start off season or when water cools off always well stocked.

i could use some info on tunstal aswell drove up there on monday read notice to get day pass at wolsingham post office drove back to post office to be told they didnt sell them :casstet: where do i get a day pass from any help please thanks
