Two 4lbers

Apologies boys, I've been out of the game for a while on account if my missus deciding to bless me with a future fishing apprentice! My son Guy was born 8 weeks early at 4lb in weight mid november. Bang goes my cod season. Had to take the missus in to the maternity ward and I still had paint on my hands from the decorating I was still doing when her waters broke. Unbeleiveably bad timing from her indoors!

Anyway, ive only managed 2 sessions since then, one last sunday above the blocks on ssp resulting in a 39cm tommy to half a cuttlefish and a 4lber says my kitchen scales last night off the top end in the rain. That one took a whole squid stuffed with cart. Had a couple of whiteys that managed to swallow the lot on 5 and 6/0 pennels too. Greedy buggers.

Cheers for the handball chaps if you read this.

Cheers lads, aye the bairns doing fine hes 10lb now with no complications at all so we're feeling pretty lucky about the whole thing. Just need to work on getting him sleeping through so I can get some night sessions in!

Congratulations on both the 4 pounders, but when you weigh it all up. One of the 4 pounders will have cost about £5 to get, while the other will cost about £20,000 to keep!!
Believe us, ah naa, Ive been there.
