couple of fish out today ,one on me second cast (nested me 1st throw)bait werent in the water a couple of minutes,which resulted in a flounder what looked to be 40+cms .as the tide was right down i had to bring it across the slek.halfway the line snapped at the swivel(lesson leant dont wrap line around lever)totaly gutted .the lads next to iz brought one in while mine was sunbathing and mine seemed a bit bigger,(thanks for rubbing it in roppa
a few of us tried to get the fish hooked by casting over it and hoping to snare it,without any success.

missed a few bites then got a canny eel
me not daft ,got the lad to hold the eel while i took the photo
bit later got another flounder at 36cms
cracking day weather, warm n sunny,canny craic with the lads,and a few fish thrown in for good measure.bait rag,crab,bluey,maccy
not a bad day at all.
