finally got out fishing today went down to jarrow police launch on the tyne. got there just before 12.first cast i got snagged up,socond cast snagged again,i thought "not another day like this again" you know them days when everything tries its best to keep you from getting out .any way things picked up from there. i started to get some small codling nowt to write home about but a fish is a fish whatever the size it keeps the hope up that there is a big one among them .two lads just up from me had the same stamp of fish .anyway two hours after that a big bloody seal swam past the end of my rod and after that not a fish to be had stopped for another two hours after that. a local dog walker told me the seal has been down there a few days now. so if anyone was planning to fish that part of the tyne keep your eyes out for it .got plenty of bait left so im out again tomorrow night lets hope its a bit better
