I've never seen as many out as there was on Saturday. We counted 8 boats trawling as we motored from wrecks between 6 and 12 miles off from the Tyne. That could explain why we caught next to nothing too.

I noticed these last night and and a few headed into blyth docks to unload there catch!!!

ShipAIS is live.i dont think you can get the world wide one on that website but im sure there is one there somewhere.I will see if i can find it as ive used it a few times for my work!!

The last two boat trips out of Sunderland we saw about four trawlers with their gear out, we caught very little on both trips
